Laura called me about a Pittsburgh maternity photography session, and said she felt great being pregnant and wanted to capture the energy of the Brookline neighborhood where she lives. We got the MOST PERFECT WEATHER on this day–around 70, clear, so lovely. Right now (as I am writing this), it’s 20 degrees and snowing, just a couple weeks later. Pittsburgh!!!
She sent me some great snapshots of the streets where we ended up shooting, and I said “yaaaaaas!!!” I love a location that has meaning to my client and has qualities I look for–great lighting, deep space, and interesting details (like these awesome stairs.
I usually would photoshop out more of the power lines and cars but I felt like that would actually take away from the busy city feeling of these images. I did remove any large poles or lines or people that were distracting from my lovely subject!
